The UMass UMass Boston Navitas Global Student Success Program offers an alternative route to Boston University of Massachusetts for foreign students who are not qualified for direct entry and who are seeking a supportive learning environment. The program is offered in a two or three semester format, which is equivalent to the first year of a UMass Boston bachelor's degree program.

The Boston Graduate UMass Global Student Success Program is a two-semester program designed for students who have completed a bachelor's degree but who need or want additional help to enter the UMass Boston Graduate Program. The UMass Boston Navitas sponsors several events per semester for students to participate in that includes soccer tournament, talent show, whale watching, Halloween party, Boston professional sporting events and dinner parties. It also provides comprehensive student support services covering all aspects of academic and non-academic life.

Go Overseas Scholarships are awarded each academic year. The award for each scholarship is $1,000. The Go Overseas scholarship is open to current students who will be enrolled in a study abroad program during the coming academic year. Recipients must be successfully accepted into a study abroad program.
