It has directed new visions for the advantage of present and future generations with its state and allied laboratories: Argonne National Laboratory, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, and the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Massachusetts. Nearly $20 million in need-based financial assistance has been given to international students at UChicago over the last four years, and a new $35 million donation for international financial assistance has increased the University's pledge to enroll a diverse and talented student body from around the world. University of Chicago scholarships are also open to foreign students. These full-time scholarships will meet all demonstrated needs for both domestic and foreign students, including education, room and board.
