As a UC San Diego undergraduate, students will be assigned to one of the university’s six Colleges, knowledge tracks, and residential spaces with their rituals and general education needs. It does things a little another way than other universities, so students will be allowed to engage in their chosen major no matter which College they join. This method gives students the distinctive occasion to live and study alongside people with varied interests, backgrounds, and learning paths. San Diego’s main campus is situated near the Pacific Ocean on approximately 1,200 acres of beach woodland in La Jolla, California. It rests on the ancestral homelands of the Kumeyaay Nation. Kumeyaay people continue to have an essential and thriving presence in the region.
International students who have obtained a student visa F1 or F2 or an exchange visitor visa J1 or J2 are not eligible to apply for financial assistance. International students admitted to UC San Diego must show that they have ample funds at their disposal to pay for their educational and living expenses.Students are encouraged to seek financial aid funds from additional sources in their home countries.
