Syracuse University is a private research university situated in Syracuse, New York. The University was built-in on March 24, 1870, and grew quickly, establishing programs in architecture and fine arts that were amongst the nation's quickest. By 1934, the University's academic divisions had grown to include 13 schools and colleges which continue to the present day. Intensely concentrated on students.
