With over 100 academic and professional/technical courses to choose from, international students get ready for lucrative professions at Shoreline. Students carry out the first two years of an undergraduate degree at Shoreline, and then move to a top U.S. university for two more years to complete their degree.
While it is supported, international students are not obliged to take the TOEFL or any other English proficiency test to be received at Shoreline. If students decide not to take an exam in advance or do not place at an academic level, there is an English language placement test they will take during International Student Orientation to determine their English level.
Shoreline is situated on a peaceful, green, 83-acre campus, just two kilometres north of the capital of Seattle. In a gorgeous region known as the Pacific Northwest, Seattle is a vibrant city that also has stunning natural scenery. There are huge array of locations and activities for students to enjoy, including national parks and beaches.
The Shoreline Community College Foundation has awarded thousands of academic and workforce scholarships to well-deserved Shoreline students. In addition to federal and state financial assistance, scholarships are a great way to offset all or part of the cost of your education. Creating a scholarship application in AwardSpring (Shoreline's online scholarship management tool) is a great way to be informed about scholarship opportunities and eligible for scholarship funding.
