The School of the Art Institute of Chicago is located in city centre Chicago and has an active campus fuelled by various undergraduate groups, organizations and leadership prospects. With more than 60 undergraduate groups and companies and a full schedule of events, SAICs Site Life office offers countless ways to get involved in the SAIC community from school-wide actions such as the Halloween Ball to the Eye and Ear Clinic's film screenings, and from weekly Latin dancing and yoga courses to philosophy discussions and art critiques.
SAIC receives between 30 and 40 applications for Tuition Exchange scholarships per year and is eligible to award between five and six. The sum of the annual scholarship shall be determined on an annual basis by the consortium. For the academic year 2020–21, the set amount is $38,000 and for the academic year 2021–22, the set amount is $39,000.
