Founded in 1925, Gannon University is a Catholic private university committed to excellence in teaching, education, and service. The university provides numerous scholarships, funding, and awards that recognize academic and athletic accomplishments, exemplary abilities, and criteria that have been demonstrated. Other than this, more than 140 clubs and associations are operated by the university to encourage students to take part in a variety of extracurricular activities. It also offers 22 varsity sports and is connected to Division II of the NCAA. Its purpose is to help students build a sense of belonging on campus by offering them a variety of ways to find their match. Furthermore, the standard class has a student-to-faculty ratio of 14:1.
