Full Sail University

Full Sail University began as an audio recording workshop in Dayton, Ohio, in 1979. It offered students an unprecedented chance to become acquainted with the industry through real-world experience in advanced studio environments. Eventually, the university moved to Central Florida, planting roots in its present location in Winter Park in 1989.

Full Sail University offers campus and online degree programs that are designed for the world of entertainment, media, arts, and technology. Offering associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees, Full Sail’s approach is centered on real-world industry experience and creative problem solving. The university campus is located in Winter Park, Florida, just outside of Orlando. The classes and laboratories of students take place around the clock and the courses advance month-to-month in their degree so that they are completely absorbed in their education.

Full Sail has organizations that range from technical societies (GRAMMY U, DECA), to community service, to artistic events when it comes to student organizations. The Full Sail campus goes all out for the Hall of Fame each year. Every year the university honors six alumni inductees and provides an exciting week of guest speakers, business meetings, and greetings, plus music, block parties, sports, and more.

Full Sail introduces the Pathway Scholarship program. The purpose of this program is to aid deserving individuals who are focused on campus bachelor of fine arts or bachelor of science degrees. Through the Pathway Scholarship program, eligible participants may receive scholarship funds if need is demonstrated.
