For more than 60 years, Cal State East Bay has represented the Bay Area as part of the California State University system, offering access to higher education to a diverse student body, and encouraging regional involvement through its academic programs and leadership. The university offers 49 Bachelor's degrees, 51 majors, 34 Master's degrees, 24 degrees and certificates, 1 doctoral degree.
As a student at Cal State East Bay, students will have unlimited opportunities to join the fun, meet people, and be part of campus life. Students may select from more than 150 college, sporting, honorary, religious, recreational, and cultural clubs, and organizations, plus NCAA Division II sports. In addition, students can also meet people from all over the world, exchange ideas and activities, create lifelong friendships, and become part of a multicultural community.
The three sites of Cal State East Bay are situated in the heart of the stunning San Francisco East Bay City of California. Classes at Hayward Campus, Concord Campus, and Oakland Career Development & Conference Center provide students with an outstanding opportunity to achieve their educational objectives. All locations are accessible via major freeways and public transport systems, including the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) system. Campus shuttles operate from and to Hayward and Castro Valley BART stations.
