Throughout the long and well-established history of the institution, the graduates of ArtCenter have had a profound influence on popular culture, the way they work, and important issues in our society. From wooded acres in the San Rafael Hills to adaptive re-use in downtown Pasadena, ArtCenter's two campuses provide future artists and designers with a wide variety of arts learning opportunities enhanced by creative and academic tools in the surrounding communities and the greater Los Angeles area.
Even before students arrive on campus, their programs and services are designed to help you get the most out of your campus time. As a student, you will discover a number of ways to get involved with the College community, whether by developing your leadership skills, participating in student clubs and organizations, volunteering with local groups, or tapping the vast cultural resources of Southern California.
ArtCenter awards scholarships to students who demonstrate both financial need and outstanding visual and academic skills. The amounts vary on the basis of the calculated need, the available funds, and the recommendation of the Scholarship Committee. New and currently enrolled students may apply for ArtCenter scholarships. Generally, a scholarship is renewed for each term if the student maintains a GPA of 3.00, continues to demonstrate financial need, and is making satisfactory progress as defined by the Financial Aid Office. Although ArtCenter manages a number of named scholarships to be considered, students only need to apply for general scholarships.
