In its students and the campus culture, the university spends a great deal. A 120% increase in funding allocation was announced for Wolverhampton's Quality Research (QR) by The Higher Education Funding Council for England Millions of pounds have been put into campus developments and learning facilities in recent years, including new engineering facilities, science building and a new home for the Business School.
A variety of scholarships, including awards for Indian nationals and those from Commonwealth nations, are available to qualifying international students. With all the facilities and exciting opportunities, the university is also dedicated to providing students who do not have adequate funding to fund their studies, hence they provide financial aid in the form of scholarships. University of Wolverhampton Sports Scholarship Scheme, the scheme is offered essentially for four sports (basketball, football, netball, and combat sports), nevertheless, athletes outside these sports are still considered, the scholars can receive the aid for over three years, up to a value of £4,500. The university is offering a generous range of scholarships to international students as a welcome in the country and to the university, students are awarded an international bursary of £1,000 per year and are available to all new international students seeking to take admission in the university.
