Established in 1495, the University of Aberdeen is the UK's fifth oldest university. Within six months of graduating, 96% of graduates go on to find jobs at the Scottish University of the Year 2019. With a multitude of dedicated facilities, students are well served at the university. This includes the accommodation program that helps locate housing and the job service that is in place to assist students with all aspects of seeking jobs after graduation, from writing CVs to preparing for interviews. The university has three campuses in Aberdeen: Kings College and Foresterhill, and one in Doha, Qatar. A diverse population of over 14,000 students from 130 nationalities welcomes the university to these destinations. It also runs an International Exchange Programme internationally with partner universities. Students will have the ability to take part in an exchange program with Erasmus to spend some of their courses in another country and explore a new culture.

The University is pleased to offer academic scholarships to students who display academic achievement through their pathway programme. It is providing advanced scholarships to students who have achieved Grade B (at least 68%) in their undergraduate degree. This scholarship will be available at a value of £2500 per year of the undergraduate degree, after the student's transfer to the university. Aberdeen also provide academic scholarship to postgraduate pathway students, the scholarship is worth £2,000.
