Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) offers quality tertiary education and education across a wide variety of subjects and qualifications. It offers more than 250 programs from certificate to postgraduate studies all certified by New Zealand Qualifications Framework, students can be taught at a level and pathway that fits them.

Many of its programs offer various intakes every year. From English Language Institute which offers intakes nearly every week to business programs which offer between four and nine intakes a year, it makes it simpler for students to start studying.

SIT offers a wide range of scholarships available for domestic and current students. Sports Scholarships, Pacific Education Foundation Scholarships, GCSB Women in STEM Scholarship, followed by OneChoice Grants Program, Barbara Wood Memorial Foundation Scholarship, and so on, the eligibility criteria and application process may vary depending on different scholarships.
