Founded in 1951, the National College of Ireland has always had a sole emphasis on supplying professional leaders to meet the present and potential demands of its business partners. In the areas of business, finance, psychology, and computing, the National College of Ireland offers a number of full-time and part-time courses. There is an opportunity for all students to participate, whether students are sports fans, enjoy being part of a team, sharing a special interest, or enjoy being active in the group.

Also, students may create one if a club or society does not already exist. The National College of Ireland is situated in the heart of the vibrant business districts of Dublin on a state-of-the-art, city-center campus. The campus itself has its headquarters in the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), home to international corporations such as JP Morgan, Citi, KPMG, and PWC. An area called Silicon Docks, which is Dublin's tech hub, is just a five-minute walk from the college. Students will find companies like Facebook, Twitter, and Google here.
