Students receive a great deal of help during their tenure at UFV, with resources including an international center, financial records, confidential advice, and special assistance for students living with disabilities.
Training groups are also sponsored for those wishing to study with other people and to develop their skills with the aid of qualified students. Upon graduation, students are able to work after finding guidance from the Career Center. As well as booking a one-to-one meeting with a career coach to help with items like writing a CV and a cover letter, information on upcoming career fairs and internship opportunities can also be found.
The University of the Fraser Valley offers select entrance scholarships to international students who have demonstrated academic excellence in their studies.
Each year, UFV International welcomes more than 800 new students from over 70 countries around the world. UFV invites academic excellence by awarding many entrance scholarships every year. This past year UFV International awarded over $400,000 in scholarships.
UFV is pleased to offer the following entrance scholarships for the year 2021:
A $20,000 International Excellence Entrance Scholarship (Renewable) to 10 of the top international applicants.
A $5,000 International Regional Entrance Scholarship to 30 of the top international international applicants.
A $5,000 British Columbia (BC) High School Entrance Scholarship to 5 of the top BC high school graduates.
