In 2002, the University of Guelph-Humber was founded as an alliance between the University of Guelph and Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. Students earn both a four-year honour's degree from the University of Guelph and a diploma from Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning concurrently, after four years of full-time study.
The university proposes seven concentrated four-year undergraduate programs: Business, Early Childhood Studies, Family and Community Social Services, Justice Studies, Kinesiology, Media and Communication Studies, and Psychology.
