In 1957, a small group of people had an extraordinary idea to set up a Christian university in Canada. Today, TWU is Canada’s largest independent Christian liberal arts institution, with an overall enrolment of 5,000 students across all courses, with over 30,000 graduates in more than 80 countries around the world. The university presents 42 undergraduate and 17 graduate degree programs.
TWU has won national recognition in educational surveys for its overall excellence of education reported in The Globe and Mail University Report and Maclean’s magazine. It has four Canada Research Chairs, in Developmental Genetics and Disease, Interpretation, Religion, and Culture, Dead Sea Scrolls Studies, and in Patient-Reported Outcomes. Trinity Western University offers a wide array of learning skills, whether degree or non-degree, in its satellite campuses and through its numerous schools and institutes.

On-campus recreational services include a full gym, playing fields and tennis courts. A range of fitness classes is held in Robson Hall. Also, Recreation Services offers a range of team sports for students of all levels of skill. Recreation Services promotes and delivers student-led wellness activities, including intramurals, club teams, special events, group fitness, and equipment rentals.
Trinity Western University is a 157-acre campus situated outside Langley, BC, Canada. Its site is 45 minutes from the city centre Vancouver and an hour from the North Shore mountains. Housing undergraduate and graduate programs, the campus includes residences, food services, health services, fitness centres, mail resources, sports facilities, a bookstore, a library, and an ecosystem study area.
Awarded by Trinity Western University, the $3,000 entrance scholarships are renewable for up to three consecutive years($12,000 in total over 4 years), five scholarships are available for first-year (including transfer) learning theatre students. The Theater Scholarships are in addition to all other TWU financial assistance (scholarships, grants, endowments, on-campus employment, etc.), Scholarships are awarded to students involved in diverse areas of the theatre arts.
