Founded by the Government of British Columbia in 1981, Kwantlen, now Kwantlen Polytechnic University, has five campuses located in the Vancouver Metro area of British Columbia. KPU offers Bachelor's degrees, Associate degrees, diplomas, certificates, and citations in more than 120 programs. The Kwantlen Student Association (KSA) has over 30 student clubs. Student clubs of the KPU meet regularly and organize their own events. The university provides students with state-of-the-art facilities, including high-tech labs, studios, classrooms, and facilities. Often referred to as the main campus, KPU Surrey is the largest of the five campuses and is easily accessible by public transportation.
