International College of Manitoba

Located in the lively Canadian city of Winnipeg, the International College of Manitoba (ICM) is a pathway college with a range of programs designed to provide students with a 'soft landing' to live and study in Canada. Its services and support system was designed to help students make the transition to Canada. Upon satisfactory completion of the UTP Stage II program, students will take one of the several undergraduate courses at the University of Manitoba in the second year (U of M).

ICM is located on the U of Fort Garry campus, about ten kilometers from downtown Winnipeg in the heart of Canada. Known as the 'Gateway to the West,' Winnipeg plays a prominent role in the transportation, manufacturing, agriculture, and finance industries that sustain the North American continent, and its location makes it a perfect spot to explore everything that Canada has to offer.

The International College of Manitoba (ICM) provides a wide range of pathway programs, of which its courses are equivalent to the first year of University of Manitoba courses. ICM’s programs and approach to teaching offer students the opportunity to be fully prepared for university studies and have a smooth transition to the University of Manitoba.

Diversity is a celebrated feature of Canadian culture, and foreign students make up almost 20% of the university's student body, representing more than 100 nations. Since ICM is situated on the U of M campus, students benefit from the shared use of all U of M facilities for the duration of their studies. ICM students are also eligible to join university clubs and societies, giving them the ability to socialize outside the walls of the classroom and to ease the transition between secondary and undergraduate studies.
