Outside the classroom, over 900 other staff work together to build a fun, inspiring, welcoming, and respectful atmosphere.
The College has two main campuses in Metro Vancouver (New Westminster and Coquitlam) as well as a number of smaller training centers in Surrey, Burnaby, and Maple Ridge. With both major campuses directly on the SkyTrain Line, Douglas is one of the most open post-secondary institutions in Metro Vancouver, attracting students from across the city.
Douglas College provides about $100,000 in entrance scholarships per year to prospective foreign students who have been competitive in their prior academic studies. Currently, two types of entrance scholarships are available at Douglas College for the Autumn, Winter, and Summer Semesters: Regional Entrance Awards range from $1000 - 2000 and Education Entrance Scholarships of about $2500. The college has International Student Scholarship which is an undergraduate scholarship for international students, this scholarship will cover up to CAD 7000 of the scholarship fees. A limit of 5 qualifying recipients will be selected for each academic year.
