Camosun College

Camosun College is a public post-secondary institution. The college welcomed its first students in 1971 and adopted the name Camosun, a local Lekwungen, meaning, where different waters meet and are transformed. It is One of the largest public colleges in British Columbia. Today, Camosun College offers over 160 innovative programs to help meet the needs of students and communities in Victoria and beyond.

The college offers university transfer and applied degree programs, career and trades training, upgrading and preparatory programs, and continuing education. Camosun College has earned an outstanding reputation for teaching excellence through its faculty and staff and is one of Canada’s best learning experiences. It is located in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia. It’s two campuses, Lansdowne and Interurban, serve thousands of learners every year.

Over 1,200 indigenous students from First Nations, Métis, and Inuit groups and over 2,100 international students from more than 80 countries are welcomed each year by Camosun, the college is eager to acknowledge student excellence and assist them in need by providing awards and bursaries, through the Camosun Foundation.
