In order to prepare students for the transition from university to jobs, the USQ has a Career Mentoring program that is structured to connect students with an experienced industry professional. The main campus of USQ is situated in the largest inland city in Australia and is home to more than 4000 students. Toowoomba is the second most populated inland city in Australia and is centered within 90 minutes from Brisbane and two hours from the Gold and Sunshine Coasts.
International students from Southeast Asia studying on-campus are offered Southeast Asian Scholarships at the university, these scholarships are for undergraduate and graduate degrees under subjects offered at the university, students are required to meet English and academic requirements. The scholarship is worth AUD 3000 per year for a maximum time period of 3 years.
