The College has three campuses located in Melbourne, each with its own unique features. Every place has a friendly, and welcoming environment that makes students feel comfortable from the very beginning. To encourage interaction and inclusiveness, each campus hosts frequent social activities. Students can take part in the activities and celebrations, such as Lunar New Year, Harmony Day, Easter, Eid Festival and Halloween, that make up the multicultural community of Melbourne. Mental wellbeing and fitness days, movie nights and special game nights are other activities during the year.

The college also provides the opportunity to experience famous attractions and activities in Melbourne, including the Australian Open, Healesville Sanctuary, Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery, Dandenong Ranges and Sovereign Hill.

The Student Engagement team arranges a variety of activities and day trips on campus and off-campus, and provides students with general guidance and encouragement. The clubs and societies of Monash College are organized for students by students. Such options open to students are scholarly, cultural and spiritual, and special-interest clubs. Monash College is entirely owned by Australia's biggest university, Monash University.
