Flinders University, spanning six separate schools, is an organization that promotes creativity. Degrees are designed to meet the requirements of business and teaching. Named after Matthew Flinders, the British explorer, the university welcomes students from all over the world who dare to be different. Founded in 1966, the Times Higher Education World University Rankings in 2020 placed Flinders among the top two percent of universities.

The University has over 160 undergraduate and postgraduate courses as well as higher degree academic oversight in all disciplines. Many courses make use of emerging information and communication technology to complement face-to-face teaching and provide versatile choices.

Apart from these scholarships, it offers a range of limited high degrees by research scholarships to students seeking to study a P.HD or Master's by Research degree.
