This develops their learning and gives them practical skills before they graduate, as well as experience. They can access job placements and internships through the university's industry partnerships, helping them to refine their skills and obtain the real-world experience required by employers.

Curtin University aims to offer elevated students around the world the ability to achieve their dreams and obtain a world-class education. To that end the university provides the Merit scholarship, Curtin accepts qualifying students who have residency in any country other than Australia. The scholarship grants qualifying students 25% off their first year of study. The Merit scholarship is followed by the Access Support Scholarship, Alumni and Family Scholarship, Starter Support Scholarship, and Australian Year 12 Scholarship.
