As the first step, take a diagnostic test to know your strengths and weaknesses on the various questions tested on the Math and Verbal. Get familiar with the test structure and get aware of how long a test SAT is. By then, you would also know that beating the SAT without techniques or strategies would be a great mistake. The Digital SAT registration has four stages, the first is creating an account on the official site, filling the application form, choosing and booking the Digital SAT exam date, and finally, paying the charges.
Registration deadlines fall approximately 4 weeks before each Digital SAT exam date. Ensure that you book well within the deadlines.
The SAT exam is for 4 hours 5 mins with the breaks. The SAT exam comprises 4 sections and an optional essay.
1. Reading section – 65 minutes
2.Writing section – 35 minutes
3.No calculator section – 25 minutes
4.Calculator section – 55 minutes
5.Optional essay – 50 minutes After the reading section, there will be a 10 minutes break and after the No calculator section there will be a 5 minutes break. Finally, if you’re taking the SAT Essay or if your test has an additional 20-minute section, you’ll get a 2-minute break after the Math Test – Calculator. The SAT exam is for 4 hours 5 mins with the breaks. SAT exam comprises of 4 sections and an optional essay.
Having an opportunity to take a SAT online practice test has huge benefits for the students. Here listed a few advantages,
• SAT online practice test is a full length test helps you to understand the structure of the SAT, the sections, question types, number of questions, duration, etc.
• You get experienced to sit for a 4 hours long test and to manage pacing for each section of the test.
• By taking this test, you get to know what you’re going to prepare for and where you stand.
• The score report enables you to analyze your stronger areas of the test and the areas you need to focus on.
Students can take SAT as many times as they want. However, we recommend students to take atleast two times and no more than three times. Most of the students get higher scores on the second attempt and most colleges consider students the highest score.
The registration cost for taking the SAT in India is US$104.

Steps to register for the SAT:
1. Sign in to your free College Board account. If you do not have an account on the College Board, create a new account.
2. Provide your full, legal name and other identifying information. Make sure it’s the exact same name and information shown on your photo ID.
3. Decide if you want to answer other questions about yourself. This takes time, but it’s worth it if you want colleges and scholarship organizations to find you. Learn why you should opt in to Student Search Service®.
4. Upload a photo that meets very specific photo requirements.
5. Check out by making the payment and print your Admission Ticket.
For Indian students, the ideal time to start the SAT preparation would be after 10th-grade board exams. Students will be a little free for at least the next three months after completing the 10th exams before they get packed with 11th and 12th-grade school tasks. Most of the topics tested in the SAT are covered in the 10th class, so it is neither too early nor too late. Students will also get time for 2nd or 3rd attempt if required.
A majority of international students who take the SAT typically enroll in coaching. Coaching facilities will show you how to read questions so that you may choose an answer that is more certain to be correct. They will also help you with time management, grade your essays, and identify your weak areas. However, rather than the number of hours you spend receiving coaching, your performance will be more influenced by the effort and practice you put forth. Take as many practice exams as you can, and try to answer every question. Work diligently on the questions you frequently get wrong.
