What is SAT Exam?
SAT exam is a standard entrance examination, which is taken up by the students of class 11th and 12th, to analyze their aptitude levels for college admissions abroad. SAT Registration 2024
Students who are willing to appear for SAT exam are required to register and registration can also be done online. Through the online method, candidates are required to create a login ID on the official SAT website and then go ahead with the registration process. Steps to Register for SAT 2024
SAT registration can take place in six very easy steps:
- The applicants will first have to sign in to the College Board website and click on the register for SAT Digital exam.

SAT Cancellation and Late Registration Fees

There is no option to reschedule SAT exam date and to change the date of the SAT exam, applicants have to cancel the existing registration, for which a certain amount will be charged. SAT Digital Exam Pattern 2024
The SAT exam comprises of two broad sections- Math, Reading & Writing. Each of the sections is scored equally with a total score of 1600 (800 for each SAT section). The SAT online exam is a computer-adaptive form of test. It adjusts the level of difficulty based on how well a candidate does in the first section. SAT Score Cancellation
For any reasons, if you need to cancel your SAT score, there are two methods:

At the Test Center
Being unsure of how the test went, you can cancel the test then and there. You can ask the supervisor to “Request to Cancel Test Scores” form and fill in the details along with signature. Make sure to submit it before leaving the test center.

At Home
There is a time limit to cancel the scores, and you need to submit the cancellation request by writing to the College Board as quickly as the deadline for receiving such requests will be 11: 59 IST on Wednesday after the test date. You need to download “Request to Cancel Test scores” online from the College Board website, fill in the details, sign it, and fax/speed post the same.
