IDP offers flexible IELTS exam dates throughout the year in their centers. Candidates can choose IELTS exam dates up to 3 months in the future. Just like the IELTS exam syllabus, the fee levied for IELTS remains the same for both the computer-delivered and pen-and-paper-delivered IELTS at INR 17,000. The specialized tests like IELTS for UKVI are priced at INR 17,250 while the IELTS Life Skills test is priced at INR 16,050.

The eligibility criteria for candidates are straightforward.

1. Candidates must be at least 16 years old. There is no upper age limit.
2. A valid passport is mandatory for registration. On the test day, candidates must bring their original passport which they used to fill out the form. Test centers will take photographs for verification.
3. Additional requirements include bringing the printed admission ticket and carrying water in a transparent bottle if needed.

Candidates should note that the examination hall strictly prohibits mobile phones and electronic devices. It’s recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time. While the Reading, Writing, and Listening sections are conducted on the same day, the Speaking test may be scheduled 7 days before or after the day of these exams.

Although rescheduling your IELTS exam dates is possible, there are some conditions to it. The conditions are as follows:

1. Your IELTS test can be rescheduled only if the test date is at least 15 days from the day on which you are applying for transfer.
2. If your IELTS test date is more than 34 days away, you can reschedule without stating any reason.

If it is found that a mistake was made while evaluating the IELTS score and that the student mistakenly received lower marks, the test taker will receive a full refund.

IDP has streamlined the ATRF process in India by moving it completely online. IDP centers no longer provide physical forms for requests for additional TRFs.

Eligibility Criteria

2. Apply for a full-time postgraduate course overseas.
3. Take the IELTS exam specifically through the British Council.
4. Select a university that accepts IELTS scores.
5. Achieve at least a 6.5 overall band score in IELTS.

• IELTS Fee Waiver Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to candidates belonging to financially weaker sections of the society. The entire IELTS exam fee is refunded within 45 days of the candidate taking the test.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the below-given eligibility criteria to avail of the scholarship:

1. Family income must be below $250 (~INR 2,10,000)
2. Age must be 32 years or below.
3. Should have scored a minimum 3.0 GPA in their graduation.
4. Appearing for the test for the first time. Repeaters cannot apply.
5. A minimum score of 75% in the higher secondary level.

• IDP IELTS Prize

IDP offers this scholarship to aspiring students who wish to pursue their academic dreams in a foreign country. The scholarship is open to anyone applying for bachelor’s, master’s, or certification programs abroad. Candidates can get additional coverage for flight tickets, school supplies, accommodation charges, and any other living expenses in addition to the scholarship amount.

Candidates must meet the below-given eligibility criteria to avail of the scholarship:

1. Minimum score of 7.5 or higher in each IELTS Skill.
2. Only eligible for those planning on higher education.

• IELTS Academic Excellence Scholarship

This scholarship is jointly offered by the British Council and IDP Education Australia to candidates who achieve a high band score in the IELTS exam. This test is all about encouraging more students to take up higher education in English-speaking countries.

Scholarship amount: Upto INR 2,10,000

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill these conditions to be eligible for this scholarship:

1. Score at least 7.0 in every section of IELTS.
2. A proven academic track record.
3. Have a valid offer of admission from a recognized institution in a country that has English as their primary language of communication.
4. Candidate must prove their commitment and dedication to their study.

• IELTS Australia Scholarship

The IELTS Australia scholarship is offered to students who want to pursue higher education or do research in Australia. It is offered to cover living costs, tuition fees, etc. To win this scholarship, candidates must have a very good track record of academics and show proof of financial need. This scholarship is open to both graduate and post-graduate students.

Scholarship amount: INR 12,00,000

Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for getting this scholarship are as follows:

1. Should not be a citizen of Australia.
2. Must have a valid document proving an offer of admission from an Australian institution.
3.  Proof of financial need and excellent academic record.
4. A score of at least 6.5 or more in all sections of  IELTS.

• IDP Education Excellence Scholarship

The IDP Excellence scholarship can be awarded to any international student from anywhere in the world needing financial aid. This scholarship can be used to cover expenses like the cost of housing, tuition, books, etc.
