AP Exam Dates

The Advanced Placement (AP) examinations are conducted by the College Board. It is a standardized entrance exam for high school students to apply to universities in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Singapore, among other countries, to pursue their undergraduate degree.

The important AP exam dates are during the first two weeks of May. The subjects have been divided into two-week schedules. However, aspirants appearing for this exam have to register beforehand between the months of September and November. Some institutes also  offer a second window for registration between January and March.

If you are unable to appear for the examination on the regular schedule, you will have the option to take the test on a later schedule. Here, we have listed all the necessary AP exam dates you must know.

AP Exam Dates 2025

The AP examination 2025 will be administered in schools for two weeks in May: from the 5th to the 9th of May and the 12th to 16th of May. The students will be informed about this by the coordinators.

Aspirants of this exam don’t have the option of early testing. However, if you cannot appear for the test during the first two weeks of May, you can enroll for late-testing dates.

AP Late-Testing Dates 2025

Sometimes, certain situations require students to test late. This is why the AP examination is in a later batch for students who cannot appear for the regularly scheduled test. However, to maintain its integrity, alternative versions are used in the late exams.

AP Registration Dates

The AP examination is administered only once in May each year. Aspirants of the test have to register in advance. A few secondary Indian schools offer both AP courses and exams, but only enrolled students are allowed for the test.

Authorized AP testing centers manage the AP exam registration in India. You have the freedom to register at any of the AP testing centers throughout India if your school is not offering the exam.

• Students have to complete the registration and make payment directly at their chosen test center between September and mid-November 2024.
• Some test centers also offer a second registration window from December to mid-March 2025.
  Every test center has different AP exam fees – this amount ranges between INR 14,000 to INR 23,000.
