GRE Exam Fees
The GRE exam fee for the students who are registering for the exam is INR 22,550. GRE application fee, GRE form fees, and GRE General Test fees are all referred to as GRE Registration fees at INR 22,550. Candidates opting for GRE Subject test are required to pay fee of INR 14,500.
GRE Subject Test Dates 2024
At present, GRE Subject Test Dates are available only three times a year and candidates can book them. GRE Subject Test dates are offered three times in a year in September, October and April. In 2024, the GRE Subject Tests will be held worldwide in the following days:

Candidates can take the GRE Subject test once in 14 days, which applies even if they have canceled their scores on tests taken previously. The time of choosing the test date, you have some time for the delivery of the scores and processing by the institution. GRE Subject Test is NOT available in-Home Edition.
When should you Take the GRE Test?
The right time to book your first GRE test date should be at least 60-70 days prior to their first university admission deadline. From the day of exam, GRE scores are available within 10 to 15 days. The GRE scores are valid for 5 years from the day of the exam.
GRE dates are available throughout the year and candidates are mostly advised to book the GRE Exam Slot well in advance for the desired choice of GRE test dates and GRE Test Center.

Things to Consider While Rescheduling/Cancellation
- The process of rescheduling or cancellation should be done at least 4 days before the test date.
- GRE Reschedule cost for Indians is INR 5,000
- If cancellation of the GRE test is done before 4 days, then the cancellation fee for the students from India will be INR 11,250, which is half of the original test fee.
How to Register for GRE exam?
For successfully registering for GRE Exam slot, the candidates should follow the steps given below:
- Candidates are required to have an ETS Account for the process of registration for the GRE Exam online.
- Test takers should create a GRE test-taker profile.
- Registration should be done at least 2 calendar days prior to the preferred GRE test date.
- Select your GRE test date for 2024 and also the test center.
- Pay sum of INR 22,550 as the GRE fees.
- Confirmation and submission of GRE application.
GRE Scores
When the selection for the test date is going on, making sure that you receive your scores in time to meet the deadlines for college applications is important. GRE scores are usually sent to the subjected colleges and universities 10-15 days after the test date and the GRE can be taken again after 21 days of the exam date, and in a calendar year five times.
